The Arni’s certificates are for $25, not $20 and are vouchers, not gift certificates (no change given)

COMMITTEE REPORTS
FINANCE: Current balance is around $9000.00. Rec fees and last season travel fees are still outstanding, but Ric and Randy just completed invoices that will be mailed out soon. Girl’s team (Ryan) outstanding is $125. Trophy bill is outstanding-will be around $1000. We netted $990 from cook’s night off meals (sold more meals, but made less money.) Our balance is about the same as it was at the point last year. With IRS, need to stay less than 25,000 so we are ok.
John will be sending the coaches a letter, which will include a thank you, upcoming training dates and other important information. He will also write a thank you letter to the sponsors, which will be delivered with the plaques.
John had an exit interview with Adam Barrett and will discuss it during a separate board meeting. He has not been successful in reaching the Anes, but will try again.
Coaches who fulfilled all the requirements will be receiving a refund. Kirk will get the names to John. (Requirements were to coach a team, complete training module, and submit disclosure.)
COACHES: Need 1 or 2 coaches for the upcoming spring travel season.
U16 girls- Adam Barrett
U15 boys- Jay Crawford (has experience from Twin Lakes HS & travel)
U18 boys or coed-need coach
U17 girls, possibly -need coach
REC: Season is wrapping up, with u12 tourney on Saturday and U17 game vs Royal Center on Saturday. U17 rec players may play in Remington tourney on Oct 27 if get enough players.
Kirk has received about 15 evaluations. He will put them all together and present to the board. Will also post the evaluation on the website for more response.

GLRSA for the Spring-also in need of coaches
U8 boys-Kirk Saylor U8 girls-?
U10 boys-Kirk Saylor U10 girls-?
U12 boys-? U12 girls-?

Kirk has 2 articles ready for the next newsletter-a thank you and info about GLRSA.

REFEREES: Refs who showed up for all their games will receive a 10% bonus. Jeff will get that info to John so checks can be written.
USSF rules need to be known and followed, in particular throw-ins and substitutions.
For next year, Jeff would like all coaches to be given the rules and for them to teach their players. He would also like to have a mandatory ref clinic, one in fall and spring.
With the good attendance at the clinic done over Challenger Camp, it was recommended that we have coaches and referees clinics that week (it will be the 3rd week of June.) We could maybe have pizza and pick-up games afterwards. Need to promote, promote, promote.
FACILITIES: Fields need seed now. Have 2 cases of paint left-do we order more now while prices are lower? Jeff will take down goals except for the U17 field for open nets.
NEW BUSINESS:
Kim Zinc thanked and applauded the Board for this rec season.
John made a motion, seconded by Joel to purchase whiskers. The motion carried.
Joel will check on goal wheels for the large goals.
Indoor soccer: $695 per team plus $25 membership fee per players. We may have the numbers for one girl’s team and 2 boy’s teams. Jay will coach one boy’s team and Jeff volunteered for the other one. Randy will clarify the game times and day, and if girls can play on the boys team.
We have 3 sponsors that were too late to get a rec team. St Vincent Hospital Masonic Lodge, and Frankfort Arni’s. We can use them for new jerseys. It was suggested instead to use the old travel jerseys. The Spring travel teams, u19 and u16, need to turn in their jerseys. Allison will put it on the announcements at school. We will collect the u12 travel jerseys from this fall season also.
We raised $214.68 for Cody Green.
Nominations were accepted. Elections will be held next meeting.
We peacefully adjourned at 8:35pm
Allison Holden, Sec
Next meeting is Nov 1.
